What You Need to Get Involved
As participants in the Rainmakers Internship Preparation Program, students will get involved with Mentors and Hosts from the business community, with college admissions officials and young professionals who will provide eye-opening views of the world, the workforce, and personal performance. Students will consider new ways of thinking while listening to podcasts featuring experts who will describe how the world will change and how those changes will impact future employment opportunities. They will improve their college readiness by hearing from college admissions officials or learn how to academically prepare for a career in the trades from leaders in the field.
To get involved in our programs, students (and Mentors and Hosts) only need a smart phone with readily available apps and access to appropriate connectivity. Occasionally, students will need to work on presentations and/or projects. Computer labs in schools or libraries will be sufficient for completing these projects.
